Bro. Woodrow O. Lundy, Jr.

Born on August 26th 1986, Brother Woodrow O Lundy Jr. is a Native of Richmond, VA. He attended Meadowbrook High School in Chesterfield Virginia and graduated in 2004. After leaving high school, Bro. Lundy was accepted and enrolled into Virginia State University majoring in Music Education. During his time at the institution he became a member of the marching band, in which he played the tuba as his primary instrument. In the year of 2005 , Brother Lundy joined a music organization known as Tuba Phi Tuba Brass Fellowship, which was founded in 1971. Brother Lundy graduated from VSU in 2009 with Bachelor of Arts degree in music and also fathered two children, Ashlyn White (14 y/o) and Carter Lundy (8 y/o). After graduating he became Band Director of the Huguenot High School Marching Band where he served for 1 year. He then went on to become an over-the-road truck there after. In 2008 Brother Lundy petitioned and was accepted into Carey Wheaton Lodge #307 where he was Entered, Passed, and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. His first office held was that of Tyler. He was later appointed Junior Deacon of the Lodge and in the following years was appointed to the office of Senior Deacon, where he remains in 2022. His motivation for petitioning a Lodge of Freemasons was curiosity and the fact that his grandfather, Robert Brooks whom died before he was born, was also a Freemason. Brother Lundy is currently in the process of tracking down his grandfather's Lodge affiliation. God willing, Brother Lundy will be Junior Warden of Carey Wheaton Lidge #307 and ultimately Master of the Lodge when the time is right.
